Dheeraj Khatore is the Chief Executive Officer of Emerge Medical Travel, a global healthcare facilitation platform connecting international patients with AACI-accredited hospitals and leading specialists across India and the Middle East. With a rare transition from frontline healthcare and emergency medical services to executive leadership, Dheeraj brings deep clinical insight to global healthcare strategy.
Over more than a decade, he has led initiatives across international healthcare operations, digital health, quality accreditation, and medical travel, building patient-centric systems grounded in transparency and trust. Under his leadership, Emerge Medical Travel delivers end-to-end care coordination from medical opinions and specialist selection to travel logistics, hospital partnerships, accommodation, and post-treatment support.
Innovation is central to Dheeraj’s vision. The company integrates digital tools such as the Better App, developed in collaboration with the Medical Tourism Association, to enhance cross-border communication and care coordination.
Beyond Emerge, Dheeraj holds executive and advisory roles with AACI and Global Healthcare Accreditation (GHA). He holds a Master’s in Healthcare Management and AI in Healthcare, is a Certified Digital Health Professional, and completed executive leadership training at Cornell University.
